I loosened the top screw a bit and then turned the nut clockwise a couple turns so that the float level would be below where it should be. I then removed the sight plug (some gas did come trickling out at this point) and started up the car. Nettet31. mar. 2012 · I've got this Holley Street Avenger 670 on my rebuilt 350. Broke in the cam with it, revs great above say 1500 but can not idle below 1500. I see my float level on the secondaries are above the sight plug. I can't get it lower for some reason. Adjusted it and still too high. Took the bowl off and adjusted it fairly level for now.
