WebI cannot serach key words or use my ctrl+f to find a word. The seach box pops up but say "no items found" and will not find the words I am looking for. I have already followed steps to purge cache and it was NOT sucessful. I have adobe acrobat Pro DC 32-bit. It is critical for my work that I can use ctrl+f to serach and find words. WebJun 1, 2014 · This issues appears to be related to new Security / Sandbox settings from Adobe Reader X onwards. -- It is not clear exactly how to stop this from happening on a fine "level" but going to: Edit --> Preferences --> Security (Enhanced) Turning off " [ ] Enable Protected Mode at Startup" certianly stops this odd behavior cold.

The problem of ctrl+f not working is only with adobe, with word, excel, on the internet for instance, it's working. And apparently I have the last update of Adobe available. Thank you for your help !
